VirMax is a clinically tested and patented natural supplement for both men and women of all ages use to improve and enhance sexual performance, sensitivity, function and feeling.

(Last Updated on April 11, 2024)

Estimates show that erectile dysfunction prevalence in the world could reach 322 million men by 2025, which is quite a big increase, compared to the 152 million men approximated in 1995.

ED manifests in the form of low libido, decreased endurance, reduced strength, and underperformance during intercourse in general.

Enter male performance enhancement drugs – like VirMax – which promise all sorts of results.

In this review, we take a closer look at what VirMax is, its ingredients, usage, side effects, real user reviews, pricing, and so much more.

Does it get the job done, and is it for you? Let’s find out.

What Is VirMax?

VirMax is a male performance enhancement supplement that leverages natural ingredients, promising to deliver:

  • Increased sensation
  • Improved performance
  • Enhanced sexual function

It is manufactured by the biotech company Natural Product Solutions.

Among other products they have in the same category are VirMaxP Prostate Health Formula and VirMax Blood Sugar Stabilization Formula.

Ingredients

virmax label

VirMax is rich in both herbal extracts and a few synthetic ingredients, including:

Epimedium Sagittatum Leaves Extract
Popularly referred to as horny goat weed or yin yang Huo in Chinese medicine, epimedium has long been used for sexual performance problems, including low sexual desire and erectile dysfunction. It contains chemicals believed to increase blood flow in the penis and improve sexual function, even though there isn't much scientific evidence to support these claims. Other uses of horny goat weed are combating osteoporosis, menopause-related health problems, and joint pain.
Panax Ginseng
Consuming Panax ginseng has been linked to better sexual performance in men with ED. This herb may also enhance sexual arousal.
Saw Palmetto Berries
Saw palmetto is obtained from the fruits of a palm tree and is recommended for treating erectile dysfunction. It is also used to help alleviate symptoms in men who have an enlarged prostate, although there is no real evidence to support these applications.
Gingko Biloba
Gingko is a common ingredient in many ED medications and supplements. Multiple sources indicate that Gingko may be used to fight sex-related problems, including low libido and erectile dysfunction. Its effectiveness can be attributed to its ability to improve levels of nitric oxide in the blood. Nitric oxide is known to improve circulation by dilating the blood vessels. Research is also underway to investigate Gingko Biloba in treating ED resulting from antidepressant medication, although reliable evidence is yet to be found.
Cnidium Monnieri fruit Extract
Cnidium is a plant native to China, although it has also been located in Oregon, USA. When taken by mouth, it is believed to boost sex drive and sexual performance and is a common ingredient in ED medication. It's bioactive ingredient, osthole, appears to have similar mechanisms to Viagra as far as penile tissue and the hippocampus go. Cnidium has also been used to treat infertility, bodybuilding, fungal and bacterial infections, and osteoporosis.
Angelica Dahurica root
Although backed by little evidence, Angelica dahurica is a Chinese medicinal herb that has always been associated with fighting premature ejaculation. It is believed to help with premature ejaculation by enhancing the threshold of senses and vibrations that the penis receives.
L-Lysine
L-Lysine is among the nine essential amino acids, although the human body does not produce it naturally. We get lysine from the foods we eat. There is also no credible evidence to support claims that low levels of lysine could cause erectile dysfunction. However, many nutritional supplement manufacturers and men's health publications claim that lysine deficiency could help fight impotence, enhance penis volume, and help achieve firmer erections.
L-Arginine Acid
L-arginine is an amino acid that plays a role in protein synthesis and levels of nitric oxide, the same gas that supports erectile function by dilating blood vessels for improved blood flow. Extensive studies have been conducted to investigate L-arginine's effect on erectile dysfunction treatment, but no significant dots have been joined. However, L-arginine is often used in combination with other supplements to create a synergistic effect in supplements for ED.
Other ingredients
L-glutamic acid, L-alanine, Gelatin, Stearic acid, Maltodextrin, Magnesium Stearate, Silica, FD&C Blue #1, Titanium Dioxide

virmax pills

You take one capsule of VirMax daily, although the brand’s website says you may also take an additional pill if desired.

One user wrote on Amazon saying they had to take the pills for at least two weeks before VirMax started working.

Also, the manufacturer recommends storing VirMax under temperatures between 15-300C (59-860F), protect it from heat, light, and moisture, not purchasing if seal is broken, and keeping out of reach of children.

Are There Any Side Effects?

We researched the ingredients used in VirMax and found that:

Epimedium (horny goat weed) may cause dizziness, vomiting, thirst, dry mouth, and nose bleeds after extended use. It may also hinder blood clotting and is, therefore, not suitable for persons with bleeding disorders.

Panax ginseng could cause insomnia, headache, loss of appetite, increased heart rate, diarrhea, itching, mood changes, rash, dizziness, and blood pressure issues.

Though uncommon and typically mild, saw palmetto’s side effects include nausea, constipation, stomach pain, bad breath, vomiting, and diarrhea.

In a few cases, Gingko Biloba may cause nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, headache, rash/ allergic reactions, and diarrhea. It may also interact with blood thinners (warfarin and aspirin), antidepressants (Prozac and Zoloft), and NSAIDs (ibuprofen and Tylenol).

Angelica dahurica, in large doses, may increase skin sensitivity to sunlight.

L-lysine may cause increased calcium absorption, abdominal pain, and renal failure/ inflammation in rare cases.

Is VirMax a Scam?

So far, most user comments seem to point out that the product did not get the job done. A few customers also claim to have a difficult time asking for a refund.

Also, the whole affair just seems fishy when you consider that the VirMax website does not have a section for customers to leave their reviews and ratings.

VirMax Reviews: What People Say About This Product?

virmax supplement

Of 22 customer reviews on Amazon, 56% are rating it 5 stars with an overall rating of 3.9 out of 5 stars.

Zotrim’s official site lacks user reviews, but this is what customers on Amazon and Walgreens had to say, starting with the positive feedbacks:

Korre Woods writes on Amazon:

This product works great! You have to take it for about 2-3 weeks before it starts working. It has taken me from not being able to keep an erection and not having much sensation to keeping my erection all throughout intercourse and 10 times more sensation. Its effects on me have significantly made intercourse better for my wife, as well. She can feel me way better. I think a lot of the negative reviews are from people who expect instant results. This pill will not help you the night off, but if you take it regularly long-term, it significantly boosts your sex life. It doesn’t make you want to have sex all the time either, but when you as are ready, it makes your stuff cooperate with what your mind wants to do.

Ellie M. Freudenberg says on Amazon:

Seems to work acceptably. Same ingredients as more expensive pills.

Stiffy reports on Walgreens:

I tried this product. I ate 2 pills and had a raging big one for 3 hours.

Here are the negative reviews:

Matt G. writes on Amazon:

Do not buy this crap or any other VIRMAX pills they dont work. You have 2 weeks to cancel which is in the very fine print if you do not cancel within those 2 weeks you will be charged 2 transactions of 94$. When you try to cancel the subscription, the lines hang up repeatedly when they feel it’s too late for you to dispute the charges they answe and cancel your subscription knowing they get your 200$ but offer a 30% refund you spend 140$ for bottles of bull. Don’t order.
