Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard of or seen MLM companies.
You might not have known that they were called such a thing – only in recent years did I realize that a girl I met in high school who was selling health & beauty products was actually the first distributor I ever met for an MLM company – but you’ve probably known someone to be involved with one at some point.
Unfortunately, this particular type of business has a pretty bad rep.
Many people think that their best skill is ripping off members, taking the cash, and running.
Today we’ll give you a bit of insight about multilevel marketing brands, particularly Vasayo.
After reading this article you’ll be better able to decide if you want to join the company or any other similar groups.
What is Vasayo?
Vasayo is a brand that has grown immensely popular in the last few years.
Though it’s been around for more than a decade, the company has gone through some serious changes.
It’s owned by Dallin Larsen, a guy who was involved in another MLM company with his wife.
Monavie, the group that they were involved with, was sold to Jeunesse after a decade of him and his wife running the show.
Needless to say, this suggests that the owners of Vasayo have some experience working with MLM companies.
So are they out to grab you, or do they want you to have a smooth marketing experience?
I’m leaning towards the latter, but you’ll have to make that decision for yourself.
Vasayo is pretty strong in the market.
While their products aren’t household names yet, they have a good foot in the door.
Vasayo: What Do They Sell?
Vasayo is one of the many health & wellness MLM companies that has sprung up in recent years.
They offer a variety of products intended to help support general health.
One of the claims that makes this group a bit different than other similar brands is the way that they promote their supplements.
They say that most other vitamin supplements on the market aren’t properly absorbed.
That means that a lot of supplements that people take are simply wasted.
Speaking from a background of pharmacology and supplementation, I can say that there is some truth to this.
However, Vasayo also says that their products are 90% absorbed by the body.
I don’t have time to look at all their products and their ingredients, but this is a very loose claim to make.
Every ingredient in every supplement has a different bioavailability (the rate at which they are absorbed) and to say that all their products are 90% absorbed by the body is pretty hard to believe.
It is certainly possible to make supplements more bioavailable, and Vasayo claims that they use “advanced technology for superior bioavailability.”
I like to trust in people and organizations who are trying to do good for the world, but there isn’t a lot of evidence to support these claims.
Vasayo Most Popular Products
The list of Vasayo products is pretty small.
They only really have a few products on the market, and their most popular ones are the MicroLife line.
Of these, you will find that these ones are commonly cited for their popularity.
MicroLife Nutritionals Essentials
A multi-vitamin that’s mixed together and uses some of Vasayo’s ‘advanced technology’ to increase the absorption rate of the vitamins.
MicroLife Nutritionals Neuro
MicroLife Nutritionals Neuro is a mix of nutritional compounds that’s intended to improve cognitive function.
MicroLife Nutritionals Energy
MicroLife Nutritionals Energy is a spray that contains a number of herbal and other natural ingredients to act as a replacement for energy drinks.
MicroLife Nutritionals Renew
MicroLife Nutritionals Renew is a product that’s designed to help boost immune function and renew feelings of youthfulness.
MicroLife Nutritionals Sleep
MicroLife Nutritionals Sleep, as you would guess, is a formula designed to help you fall asleep at night.
Does Vasayo Work?
A lot of their products have received positive feedback, though there isn’t a lot of scientific evidence to support the way that they work.
Vasayo makes some pretty intense claims about their products, like the ‘fact’ that they are 90% bioavailable.
This is a very difficult claim to back up and they don’t supply much for us to go off except that they used ‘advanced technology.’
That said, regardless of whether or not they actually achieved a rate of 90% bioavailability, their products still include a number of healthy ingredients.
Whether or not they’re better than the alternatives is up for debate, but many people find that they work.
Vasayo MLM Business Opportunity
Vasayo offers customers a chance to join the company as a distributor so they can take part in a MLM business opportunity.
A MLM, or a multi-level marketing opportunity, is one that allows you to work as a salesperson and recruitment officer for a brand.
Many people don’t want to work this type of job specifically because they’ve heard bad things about it.
However it’s important to note that every company is different.
Some can actually be quite useful for helping people support their income.
Some people are even able to turn these opportunities into full-time jobs and earn a living wage off their downline (money that they make off people that they recruit.)
Does it happen often? No.
But it can and does happen.
Vasayo: The Compensation Plan
Each MLM company has a different ranking scheme.
In one sense, these are the ‘levels’ of the marketing plan that allow you to increase your rank and earn better bonuses.
Vasayo has 18 ranks, and each one will provide you with different bonuses.
The particular requirements for the later ranks are a bit much to explain here, but they follow a similar structure:
- Brand Partner (Rank 1) all you need to do is sign up as an affiliate with them.
- Executive Brand Partner (Rank 3) requires that you recruit 2 active affiliates and generate at least 800 GV (a group value that increases as people that you have recruited into the company sell stuff).
- Bronze (Rank 4) You must generate 80 PV (another value, Personal Value, that you will increase by selling things) while maintaining 2 active customers and 2 affiliates. You must also earn 3000 GV in lesser binary volume monthly.
- Diamond (Rank 11) you must achieve at least 240 PV a month while also having both six active customers and affiliates. Three of these must be ranked a Blue Sapphire or higher. You also will need to generate 30,000 GV in lesser binary a week.
- Triple Crown Blue Diamond is the final rank, and probably a good thing because it sounds like they were running out of names for ranks. You’ll need 320 PV a month, 6 active customers and 8 active affiliates ranked Diamond or more. You’ll need to make 150,000 GV on a weekly basis.
Other than that, you’ll be able to earn up to 20% commission on retail sales and a certain amount of commission off of your downline depending on your rank and their rank. You will get a bonus $50 if one of your download makes 500 PV.
Is Vasayo A Pyramid Scheme?
Most MLM business are pyramid schemes.
The difference is whether or not the company is run by people who care about their members or by those who don’t.
Vasayo seems to be a very fair company and its owner has worked in the MLM niche before.
Their compensation plan is fair, and you will have to work hard but you will be compensated fairly.
The pyramid scheme became a topic of controversy because it was discovered that it’s quite easy to take advantage of distributors or other members of the business by using this model.
Not everyone wants to take advantage of people, though.
Vasayo Reviews & Complaints
Just as with any company, there are a number of reviews and complaints for Vasay from people who have had different experiences.
We have compiled some of the most recent reviews of their business and products so you can have a better understanding of what people are saying about Vasayo.
The most recent reviewer was a person who has “trouble sleeping sometimes.”
Their review was short and sweet, saying that they “took this product once and it worked wonderfully.”
There’s one point for them.
Unfortunately, the next reviewer wasn’t nearly as stoked.
Not only did they not enjoy their products, but they could “not get a refund on their products within 30 days.”
A couple of the things that they bought worked, but “2 were defective” and the user was “not able to use them.”
They were disappointed that the money-back policy doesn’t include opened products, and now they are “stuck with them and one I can’t use.”
Vasayo is relatively new and they don’t have a huge customer base yet.
However, reviews seem balanced across the board.
Vasayo Prices & Where To Buy
The best place to buy Vasayo products is from their website.
This might discourage you from trying to become a distributor, but you will get a better deal if you are purchasing products as an affiliate.
For people who don’t know any distributors, the prices can still be quite reasonable online.
The first 4 of their most popular products that we listed, the MicroLife line – including MicroLife Renew, Energy, Sleep, and Core Essentials will run you $54.95 when purchased off their site.
MicroLife Nutritionals Neuro, designed to improve cognitive abilities, is a bit more expensive.
It’ll cost $69.95 (but who can put a price on brainpower?)
Vasayo Money Back Guarantee & Refund Policy
Vasayo offers people a product return guarantee for anything that was purchased in the last 30 days. Doesn’t matter if is opened or unopened.
Product may be returned within 30 days after the original date of purchase (order date) for a 90% refund of the purchase price (10% restocking fee), exluding shipping – we can read on their website.
Vasayo Pros & Cons
It’s a good idea to understand the positive and negative sides to any company that you are planning to join or even to do business with.
This allows you to weigh out the good and bads in one place so you can make a quick decision.
Without further ado, here are the pros and cons about working with, or buying from, Vasayo.
Pros
- They are run by a guy who has a ton of experience in the MLM world and wants to ensure that people working under him have a good experience.
- Offers very powerful supplements in place of products that are not easily absorbed.
- Relies on complex technologies to enhance the strength and potency of their products.
- A fair compensation plan with a lot of room for ranking up and increasing your overall payouts.
- A small product line so you can be aware of pretty much everything that they sell when you are working as a distributor.
Cons
- There isn’t a lot of clinical evidence to support the claim that their products are actually any better or worse than the other products on the market.
- Some people might be daunted by the number of ranks that they can increase.
- There are not a lot of reviews about this company available online as they’re relatively new.
- Some people have reported having a bad experience with their return policy.
Vasayo Review: Final Verdict
It can be a difficult to decide whether or not you want to join a MLM company.
There are so many variables to consider that many people just avoid them altogether.
However, some of them are certainly better than others.
It seems like Vasayo is one of these.
They have a small product line and the company is headed by someone who struggled from the bottom of a MLM business before.
Their policies are clearly outlined and they’re not making any outlandish claims (except perhaps about the potency of their supplements) so you can expect to get what you’re told.
We can’t make your decisions for you, but hopefully you’ll be better able to make a decision about what choice you’re going to make after reading this article.
