We have seen a significant increase in the prevalence of obesity within the past three decades.

These alarming statistics are contributed to by the higher consumption of processed foods, as well as diets contain an increasing number of calories.

In Europe, the general prevalence of obesity has increased by 30% in just one decade.

According to one study, at the rate at which obesity is currently rising over the world, it is estimated that around 38% of the worldwide population will be obese by 2030.

A significant number of products, guides, and tools have been released to help with reducing the high prevalence of obesity possibly.

While some products have been proven to work effectively, there are a lot of products out there that are scams.

These products tend to make people spend a lot of money, yet they fail to help the user lose weight.

Sometimes the user would lose weight, but they gain back that weight rather quickly.

What Is The Shepherd’s Diet?

The high prevalence of obesity has caused many authors who have gone through a journey of body transformation themselves release guides to share their stories with the world.

The Shepherd’s Diet was authored by Kristina Wilds and takes a biblical approach to guide the reader through a journey that aims to help them lose weight and become healthier in general.

According to the author of this book, she has used references to food and life in general from the Bible.

The Shepherd’s Diet promises that individuals who closely follows that the diet provides the user with is going to help them shed excess weight that is causing them to experience adverse health effects.

The book is quite unique with its biblical references that are used to show the user how proper eating should be, as the author explains, people are supposed to eat.

How Does The Shepherd’s Diet Work?

The Shepherd’s Diet is a book – a physical guide that tells the users how they should eat and live if they wish to experience improvements in their weight and health.

The book mainly focuses on introducing the reader to the popular Atkins diet.

This type of diet holds both pros and cons. It is a diet that involves a significant restriction being placed on the number of carbohydrates a person would eat on a daily basis.

The diet mainly consists of fats and protein – both on the high-end.

The Atkins diet promises that those who follow the diet will lose weight quickly and effectively.

The book provides a variety of data regarding the Atkins diet and frequently refers to Biblical references that promote the details that are shared inside of the book.

Along with all of the information provided regarding how the Atkins diet work, the book also includes information about particular foods that can be consumed and foods that should be avoided.

The Shepherd’s Diet Side Effects

Since the guide primarily takes advantage of the popular Atkins Diet, we thought it would be a good idea to share some of the side-effects that may occur when a person decided to adopt such a diet.

The first series of side-effects that interested individuals should be aware of include weakness, insomnia, nausea, dizziness, tiredness and bad breath.

These are all side-effects that occur when the body enters ketosis, which is a state in which the body goes when it starts to burn fat.

Additionally, some people may also experience constipation when they decide to go on an Atkins diet due to the particular food options that are often seen in such a diet.

It should be noted that there are long-term concerns that have been raised among scientists regarding the Atkins diet.

Two particularly important concerns have been raised – the fact that people are generally advised to increase their intake of saturated fats significantly, and the diet also does not follow a proper balance in nutrients.

In turn, this may cause a higher risk of developing cardiovascular disease down the road.

The unbalanced diet can also cause a person to start experiencing problems with the maintenance of nutrients in their body – in turn; this may lead to nutritional deficiencies.

Is The Shepherd’s Diet A Scam?

While we could not find any particular details that may suggest that the Shepherd’s Diet is a scam.

At the same time, individuals who may be interested in this guide should be wary of the many complaints from previous buyers.

One particular complaint we do want users to be noted about is a complaint that was filed on Ripoff Report.

The complaint was filed by a customer named Dora, from Roseburg Oregon.

The customer stated that the diet did not do anything for them and there was a lot of inappropriate information found in the report.

She stated that this is a “Christian diet scam” and that the author refused to provide her with a refund on her order, even though a money-back guarantee has been promoted.

  • We found an official report filed against that author of the book, after a customer’s request to get a refund on their order was first ignored and then declined.
  • Individuals who wish to file for a refund after they find the book unhelpful might have a difficult time doing so. It seems like the author of this book is not very responsive or helpful in terms of providing customer services and adhering to refund requests.

The Shepherd’s Diet Review: Final Verdict

Excessive weight gain causes chronic disease, it makes life more difficult due to restrictions in movements, and it causes people to experience a significant number of problems with their psychological health.

The Shepherd’s Diet has been released to help people understand how people lived in ancient times.

The book takes a particularly interesting angle, by focusing on the Bible and Christianity in general.

While this book seems like a legit option for people who wish to lose weight, particularly Christians, many red flags popped up when we started to do more extensive research on the subject.

It seems like there is very little positive feedback regarding the usefulness of the information shared in this book and, overall, most users seem to be unhappy with the results they achieved while following the diet.

One Reply to The Shepherd’s Diet Review: Is It A Scam?

  1. I never signed up for ANYTHING other than buying the book about 6 months ago. Now this week I got a charge for $19.00 (which I DID NOT ORDER anything) from SIB Education LLC. I reported fraud and canceled my card! This is very UN-CHRISTIAN of them to do! I manage a Christian Radio Station in Las Vegas and I will be warning folks ON THE AIR about this. I asked to interview Kristina on the air for one of my On Air radio shows and all I got was the run-around, and then some lady tried to turn the table on me and wanted to interview me for a sales video. I saw the bottom of the offer for the book it was from ClickBank. And since the radio station I manage is signed up for ClickBank, I thought that we could make a few dollars selling the book also. However, even that did not work out. Some group, or individual controls it so they will not even share with other Christians this supposed Christian weight loss method. If they wanted to really get things going they would allow other Christians to make money by spreading the word about it, AND they would stop using these crooked tactics of billing and re-billing.
