If you don’t know anything about MLM companies then you’ve come to the right place.
Even if you do know about them and just want some more juicy details, you’re still in the right place.
All of them are a bit different, and today we’re going to talk about Rain.
It’s a relatively new business, and a lot of people have had different experiences with it.
What Is Rain?
Rain has been around since 2009 under a slightly different name.
When it was first opened it was known as Rain Nutrition.
2 years later they were acquired by Rain International.
Nowadays they have a wide range of operations, particularly in the EU – there are ten different countries in Europe who are working with Rain.
However it’s only in very recent years that they’ve started really banking.
In January 2016, their sales pretty much doubled. By the next month they were breaking records in the EU.
The current president, and the owner of the company, is Byron Belka.
He’s quite successful in the realm of network marketing, but he doesn’t have the glaring experience that some others do.
That said, he worked a lot in MLM companies, so he knows what to do to make a successful business that other people will want to join.
He’s one of the few people who decided they wanted to take their multi-level marketing to the next level and actually form their own business.
Rain: What Do They Sell?
Rain operates around the foundation of ‘seed nutrition,’ which means that they deal more with seeds than the actual whole fruits or vegetables.
There is some wisdom to this as a seed contains all the nutrients needed to grow an entire plant.
In many cases, seeds – once sprouted or ‘activated’ are the most nutritious part of a plant.
They are highly dense in antioxidants, phytonutrients, and other important compounds.
The products that they sell have cool, hip, trendy names like the SOUL line and CORE.
I’m not one for catchy marketing so this doesn’t really mean anything to me.
Aside from their main lines, they also sell varieties of coffee that are infused with the oil from various seeds.
They also have some seed-based skin care products that are actually pretty good for your skin.
As a bonus for those who are ethically-minded, all of the things that they sell are vegan, gluten-free and made without the use of GMOs.
Rain Most Popular Products
There are a number of different products that Rain sells, but some of their product lines are more popular than others.
SOUL
The SOUL line is a nutritional supplement that’s intended to help rejuvenate and improve overall health.
It’s their flagship product so it makes sense that it’s the most popular.
It contains a variety of seeds that I know to be quite healthy, especially black cumin seed.
CORE
CORE is their runner-up product.
It’s a supplement that’s intended to help cleanse and detoxify the body through the power of seeds.
There are also some other ingredients like kale and milk thistle.
Apparently it works best when mixed with SOUL.
FORM
FORM is a highly concentrated protein supplement.
Like everything else they sell, they say that they work best together.
The 3 of these products together form their complete health system.
Does Rain Work?
One of the good things about Rain is that its products are endorsed by a doctor.
Bradford Weeks, M.D., is a fairly well-known online persona.
He is well qualified, he does online webinars, and he supports Rain and their products with his qualifications.
In fact, he has done several webinars on their products in particular.
The SOUL supplements have been covered by him on his own website.
That said, he isn’t the most clean-handed doctor on the face of the planet.
He’s been charged with misconduct more than once.
A lot more than once.
In fact at one point he got a 5-year suspension from practicing medicine and he almost had his license entirely revoked.
He’s known for prescribing the wrong drugs at the wrong time, misdiagnosing people, and just being sheisty in general.
So he’s not really one to trust.
If anything this is one of the few MLMs that sounds like it fits the bill of a ‘scheme.’
Some of their products have been tested by Brunswick Labs, an independent research unit, but still none of their products have been evaluated by the FDA.
And who knows what the nutritional lab is involved in – some companies have been known to hire sheisty labs to ‘validate’ products that they know are garbage.
That said, a lot of people have reported positive experiences using their products.
So take that as you will.
Rain MLM Business Opportunity
Rain offers people the chance to join their multi-level marketing business.
This means that you can put in time and hours to work for them.
You can work from home or go out and try to find people to buy things for you.
The main ways to make money from MLM businesses revolve around selling items to friends, family, and other people, or recruiting other members to the company so they can do the same.
More often than not the best way to make money is by recruiting members.
Why?
Most MLMs make sure that you meet a minimum quota every month to stay active.
And you earn money based on commission from everyone that you recruit.
So if you recruit a ton of people you’ll earn more and more commission, even just off of their minimum monthly contribution.
Not a bad way to make some residual income.
Unfortunately some of these businesses are vastly superior to others.
The compensation plan is what really makes the difference and sets one brand apart from another.
Rain: The Compensation Plan
Now that you know a company’s compensation plan is what makes (most) of the difference, you’ll probably want to know about Rain’s.
The first thing to know is that, if you want to remain active in the company, you’re going to need to meet the minimum PV (personal volume) of 50 points.
This is a way that companies tend to get people to autoship products for them.
In some cases this isn’t a problem – namely if you’re working hard and making money.
However, this is also part of the reason that people assume these companies are pyramid schemes.
That said, this particular brand isn’t very upfront about their business opportunity and they don’t make it easy to glean information from their own website.
Fortunately we’ve taken that step for you.
There are a few ways that you can earn cash.
Most of these ways revolve around various bonuses that can be achieved by being a good salesperson.
- You can earn direct retail commission. Up to 30%, which is alright for businesses like this.
- The first orders of people that you recruit directly will earn you 50% commission. You also get 10% commission on the first order of people that they recruit.
- Several other bonuses apply for different things. For example every week you remain a top achiever – which basically means sell a lot of stuff and recruit people – you’ll earn between $100 to $1,000.
- You earn 10% commission on your team’s sales.
And here’s the cream of the crop.
First off, Rain is kind of sheisty in the sense that they make it really hard for you to find out exactly how much it costs to join.
But, anyways.
We figured it out.
There are several different packages to choose from.
The pricier ones allow you more chance to make money.
They provide you with a different number of business centers which means you’ll be able to reach more people.
- Business Builder package will cost you $249 and provide you with 1 business center.
- Professional Builder package will run you $599 and give you access to 3 business centers.
- Rain Elite will cost you a whopping $919 and give you access to 1 business center and 6 months of autoship.
- Super Elite will run you a wallet-crushing, bone-breaking price of $1259, which is the most I’ve ever seen for any MLM company, and give you 3 business centers and 6 months of autoship.
If it were me I’d go with a regular package but honestly this whole thing throws my game off.
I think they’re not upfront about these prices because they want people to get intrigued before they end up stabbing them for huge prices.
Is Rain A Pyramid Scheme?
As far as I’m concerned, Rain is one of the more scheme-y MLMs out there.
A large part of this is because they’re not upfront about the prices you’ll need to pay to join.
This suggests that they’re more concerned about earning money than they are about their customers and employees.
That said, there are still a lot of people who make money with Rain and swear that it’s a good company.
Rain Reviews and Complaints
Despite what I think of the company itself, Rain products have some pretty solid reviews.
For example, their seed-based antioxidant products are rated more than 4 stars on Amazon.
The most recent reviewer said that “it is working for me.”
Despite their brutal symptoms of arthritis that stopped them from walking, they said that “using this 1 per day for two months I am able to walk comfortably.”
One person found that the product was quite effective but was dismayed to find that “each packet contains over a teaspoon of sugar.”
Maybe they should have read the ingredients before buying!
Another review of another product says that they “don’t know how it works, but it does.”
After taking the product in the morning it “makes me feel energized and ready for the day.”
Rain Prices & Where to Buy
There are a ton of different places to buy Rain products.
Because they’ll help you get set up with a business site, there are more places to buy Rain than there are pages on Amazon.
Well, maybe not that many. But that said, you can also buy their products on Amazon.
The prices are pretty similar no matter where you go.
On Amazon you can expect to pay prices like these:
- Rain Soul Seed-Based Antioxidants, a single box (30 pouches) will cost you $79.99.
- Rain Fused Latte Coffee will run you $12.97 for a box of 15 packets.
- A 10-box bulk supply of Rain Core Antioxidant Supplements will run you $364.55, which isn’t bad considering it should last you almost a year.
Rain Money Back Guarantee
Rain International offers people a 30 day money-back guarantee.
They’re quite confident with their products.
If you return anything within 30 days of buying it you can get a refund or store credit minus shipping.
Rain Pros & Cons
It’s wise to understand the pros and cons of any company before deciding to do business with them.
Pros
- They have solid products that are positively reviewed.
- They offer members good training and business preparation.
- They are expanding quickly.
- Their compensation plan is reasonable and they offer a lot of bonuses.
Cons
- They are kind of shady about the way that they advertise their business.
- As with any MLM it can be hard to make money if you’re not dedicated.
- The cost to join is really expensive and you’ll have to maintain a monthly auto-ship (or repurchase) to remain active.
Rain Review: Final Verdict
There are a lot of MLMs out there and it can be hard to sort out the good from the bad.
We’re here to help you do this.
In summary, Rain International is an interesting company.
The fact that they’re not open and honest about the costs of joining really throws me off.
What else is hidden in fine print? What else are they hiding?
Other than that they seem good.
Their products are high-quality and their employment opportunity is reasonable.
I can’t tell you whether or not you should join a company, that’s up to you.
But hopefully I’ve helped you make a decision!

I LOVED YOUR REVIEW THANK YOU. I AM GOING TO TRY THE COMPANY BECAUSE OF MY FRIENDS TRYING THE PRODUCT WITH EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS FOR SOME SERIOUS DIS-eases AND IT WORKED. It stopped some friends from doing painful procedures. So I will let you know after talking with a rep if I think they are shady. I totally am not an MLM person; don’t care to be, but the product may be exceptional. The seed science may be what BIG PHARMA IS AFRAID OF. I can try the product perhaps for 3mos without signing up perhaps. thank you…I’ll try to come back and let you know how it worked.
Stay Precious Cat
First, best regards to all, especially to you, Mr. David.
Your review, as an independent observer, would not help me decide whether to use Rain products, but since I have been using them for 3 years, I will comment from that point .
Products: in the huge offer healthy supplements, most of which are recommended by doctors, none of them helped my family and friends such as Rain Products. Not as a medicine, but as food and by an action that is not temporary.
Purchase: This is an MLM company, and it is absolutely impossible to order products if you do not have a website from a partner, or you are a partner yourself, or a registered customer. So, buying through Amazon, which you think is “independent”, is actually buying through one of the partners who “illegally” set up their website there, and the guarantee that the company offers, as well as lower prices, through Amazon very hard to expect.
Compensation plan: not perfect (nor jobs and salaries in any other form) but one of the honest and quite acceptable with huge possibilities, adaptable to everyone.
And, questions for everyone : If you buy something that you want and that you like, you pay, and with that you get the opportunity to earn with your recommendation, what’s wrong with that?
So much for me, the woman this company saved from illness, financial collapse and nervous breakdown.
