What Is Penetrex?
Penetrex is an all natural cream that is designed to be applied topically to reduce joint pain.
The cream is a combination of Shea Butter, Arnica and Vitamin B6.
The manufacturer claims that it will penetrate deep into the muscle tissue in order to reach the tendons, joints and ligaments.
It is claimed that Penetrex can bring relief for suffers of the following complaints:
- Shin Splints
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Golfers Elbow
- Tennis Elbow
- Plantar Fasciitis
Penetrex is known as a cutaneous anti-inflammatory.
As such, it is a medication that is delivered through the skin rather than orally.
It is designed to be applied directly over the area of pain or injury.
Its state of the art dermal delivery system ensures that the active ingredients quickly penetrate to the pain centre in order to bring quick relief.
Penetrex is produced and marketed by a company called Biomax Health Products, who are based in Southern California, USA.
Arnica is a compound derived from the perrenial plant arnica montana.
Arnica is considered to be toxic when ingested.
However, when used topically, it has been shown to help bring relief from muscular pain, bruising and inflammation.
A 2013 study has also shown that arnica can bring relief to sufferers of osteoarthritis pain.
Pyridoxine is more commonly known as Vitamin B6.
It has the ability to balance the body’s levels of potassium and sodium to promote healthy nerve functioning.
Low levels of Vitamin B6 have been associated with inflammation, swelling and arthritis pain.
Methylsulfonylmethane is an active ingredient which has been shown to reduce inflammation and bring relief from associated pain.
A recent study showed that it can bring relief for sufferers of arthritis, joint pain and swelling.
Boswellia Serrata is a plant which is native to India.
It has been used traditionally as an anti-inflammatory, with recent research showing its ability to help reduce the pain associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma and inflammatory bowel disease.
Cetyl Myristoleate is another powerful anti-inflammatory that has been shown to bring relief for sufferers of arthritis.
How Does Penetrex Work?
The three key ingredients in Penetrex work together to heal and repair the affected joints.
Rather than masking the pain, it works directly on the source of that pain to bring permanent relief.
The emulsification properties of the active ingredients in Penetrex combine to reduce the inflammation of muscles, nerves, tendons and ligaments.
Penetrex will also enhance the blood circulation to the inflamed area of the body.
This fast tracks oxygen and nutrients to the area in order to expedite the healing process.
How To Use It?
Penetrex is a cream that is designed to be applied topically to the area of pain.
A liberal amount should be rubbed into the affected area and massaged for up to two minutes so that it absorbs deep into the muscle tissue.
This process should be repeated three to four times throughout the day.
Continue this for an initial period of between seven and ten days.
After that, the cream should only be applied as needed for persistent pain.
People who habitually experience pain while sleeping are advised to apply the massage cream to the affected area before going to bed at night.
The same thing applies if you are used to experiencing pain when doing other activities, such as playing an instrument or exercising.
In this way, Penetrex cream will work as a pain preventative.
Penetrex Side Effects
With more than two million jars of Penetrex having been sold to date, there have been no reported recurring incidents of negative side effects.
That provides quite conclusive evidence that Penetrex is safe and side effect free.
This is to be expected, as all of the ingredients are completely natural.
Some people may experience some minor side effects, which may include headache, rash and increased body temperature.
It should be restated here that Penetrex is a strictly topical treatment.
It must never be swallowed, as arnica is toxic when ingested.

Here is a sampling of the customer feedback on Penetrex.
I have severe bursitis in my shoulder and the pain also radiates down my arm. I was told by a doctor friend of mine about how amazing Penetrex was and that it actually works to numb if not completely relieve the pain. So I said ‘I’ll try anything!’ AND he was right!!!
It actually does work. In fact I was on a plane flying back from Texas this last weekend and realized, after using Penetrex on my shoulder that morning, that even though I was pulling a couple of suitcases through the airport , racing to the gate , that my shoulder was completely pain free. I was shocked.
This product really does work. And i was pain free for the three hour flight and two hour drive home! I just purchased two more jars, paying a little extra to have them overnighted , via Amazon…my favorite shopping place!…. because I can’t live without this product! Thank you BioMax for this amazing product! Miracles do happen!!
Here is Joanna Anderson’s experience.
I have been using Penetrex for more then seven years. I am 81 year old with severe arthritis in hip, shoulders I have recommended it to everyone and many have thanked me introducing it to them. I urge you to give This product a try. Use as suggested and you hopefully will get the help I have gotten. It is worth paying a little more then over the counter products I have previously used. A little goes a long way.
However, Norren was not impresed with the product:
I didn’t notice any pain relief for my achy feet. Maybe I just didn’t use it long enough, but it’s just so expensive for such a little bit of cream. It’s just not realistic in my opinion to be able to afford to use this as directed in order to find out if a difference can be made. At least for me, this one 2 oz container (that’s 1/4 cup) for $19.00 was not enough to notice a difference. I knew it was stupid of me to buy it, but I tried it anyway. Again, did nothing at all for me.
