I have to say when I started reading Glucocil reviews I was slightly concerned. It is a “blood sugar optimizer”, which sounds quite dramatic.
Its claim is that it will help to normalize blood sugar levels.
It’s meant to help people who suffer from diabetes, or who have some sort of blood sugar disorder.
The makers claim that it has the power to change lives.
But what’s the truth about using Glucocil?
What Is Glucocil?
Glucocil is a proprietary blood glucose stabilizing supplement. It’s widely available and often recommended online.
It is in capsule form and people are advised to take two capsules of Glucocil each day, before lunch and before dinner.
The product has been available since 2008.
It allegedly underwent years of research and testing before it was released, although getting details on this is quite difficult.
It is an all natural supplement with a combination of ingredients that work together with the aim of stabilizing blood sugar levels.
But what does stabilizing really mean?
Glucocil Ingredients
The product is formulated to regulate blood sugar during the day.
It has a large group of natural ingredients:
- Vitamin B1
- Vitamin B6
- Vitamin B12
- vitamin D
- Chromium
- Mulberry leaf extract
- Cinnamon bark powder
- Gymnema slyvestre extract
- Insulina
- Alpha lipoic acid
- Phellodendron bark extract
- Cissus quadrangularis
- Banaba Leaf extract
- Fish oil
Does Glucocil Work?
Glucocil allegedly works by triggering all three areas of essential healthy blood sugar:
- Reduce absorption of glucose in the intestines
- Reduce the production of glucose in the liver
- Increase insulin sensitivity by improving glucose uptake in cells
Now that all sounds very dramatic and scientific, but can this product actually meet those amazing claims?
The product reduces the absorption of glucose by blocking some of the bodies digestion of sugars and carbohydrates.
It’s the rapid digestion of sugars and white carbohydrate, that can cause blood sugars to spike through the production of insulin.
It’s the reason that so many diabetics come from a background of junk food, white pasta, white bread and white rice, topped up with crisps and sugary sweets and drinks.
It does this through inhibiting an enzyme called alpha glucosidase.
In a clinical trial it was found that the Mulberry leaf extract could actually store up to 21% of carbohydrate absorption.
But what is fine in theory often does not work in practice as many user reviews show:
“The product had no effect at all. In addition, I did not appreciate the “auto renew” aspect of the purchase. This tactic is normally reserved for the unethical merchant. I spent over $100 on a meaningless supplement designed to appeal to those in need. I have since discarded this worthless product as the return process is borderline criminal.”
“Just another fashion of the moment scam just like cinnculin.”
“Warning! It whipped me out! With the first one that I took. Dropped my sugar levels too low I think, too fast! Even dangerous to some people. I had to take a nap.I could’t do any thing at the time. Good thing I was not driving any where. I stop taking it after the first one.”
Glucocil Side Effects
In 2013 the makers of Glucocil received a complaint from the FDA.
The product is a natural ingredient product which means it falls into a gray area of regulation.
The problem is that the makers of Glucocil were making claims about it more in line with the drug than a food product.
This does not necessarily suggest there are side effects to taking Gucocil, but it does show how this product and its ingredients fall into a gray area, and are therefore not going to be thoroughly regulated and tested.
The bottom line here is that there are a lot of people who complain that they have crashed after taking this product, that it can reduce blood sugar too quickly.
On the other side of that, people have complained that it can have no effect at all other than to make them feel unwell.
I think I would have to recommend if you are starting to think of taking this product, that you have a talk with your doctor before taking it.
Where To Buy Glucocil?
Glucocil is very widely available. I took a look at some of the main obvious purchase sources:
- GNC: $38.95
- Amazon: $39.95
- Walmart: No
The main thing to watch out for is that if you buy the product through the main supplier, the company themselves, you get put into an auto renew scheme.
This means that you are rebilled after a set period of time when the product should have been used.
This means you will be recharged if you do not cancel this.
In terms of the Glucocil price, it’s pretty stable wherever you buy from, with it only varying by a dollar or two depending on where you choose to buy.
Shipping could be the biggest difference.
Glucocil Review: Final Verdict
On the surface of this review, Glucocil sounds like it does what it says it should.
And that’s great as long as you don’t have any side effects or reactions to it.
I can’t say it is recommended because of the intervention from the FDA, and also the fact that it’s in a gray area and doesn’t have any real testing to back it up that there is evidence for.
I’m also slightly concerned about the fact that it seems to be able to have a dramatic effect on people in a very short space of time which could cause problems people.

I don’t know yet, I don’t do my Blood work for the Doctor until April 16th 2018.
I have been taking Glucocil for apprx two years with no problems. My A1C numbers went from high to normal and that is where it is staying, no side affects. I wouldn’t be without it. I find it interesting that I did thorough research on this product before taking it and none of the negative information was on line at the time. I will continue to take this product.
Same! Now it’s banned from Amazon among many other sites as I just went to reorder. I’ve been working in the natural health field for almost 20 years and these types of paid lies never stop especially when a natural product actually works very well. Everything is done to paint the product in a negative light before eventually taking it off the market. From cancer to diabetes to pain…anything that cuts into Big Pharma profits is obliterated in time. It’s truly sickening the world we live in is all about keeping the public sick and from learning the truth.
