Acne is one of the worst things that can happen to your skin.
Not only does it make your skin look ugly and dirty, it also makes you feel insecure and perhaps even ashamed to have acne!
Women in particular hate having these awful marks on their skin so they try a lot of creams to remove them as fast as possible, but only a handful really work.
Exposed Skin Care wants to try an approach that attacks acne1 and clogged pores from different angles, making sure you never have to wake up with ugly acne ever again!
Is it for real?
Check out our Exposed Skin Care review and find out!
What Is Exposed Skin Care?
Exposed Skin Care is not one product, but several. It’s actually a kit made of up to nine separate bottles.
Their focus is all about getting rid of dead skin cells, unclogging pores, and removing or at least reducing the presence of acne as well as prevent them from coming back again.
The focus is simple enough, but Exposed Skin Care seems to have overdone themselves by making use of a whole kit and we see that as a good thing.
- Quality ingredients. Each ingredient is worth the money you’ll part with.
- User Friendly website. It has a lot of pages that caters to specific needs. Navigation isn’t difficult and we like how everything is organized despite the large amount of information available.
- 1-Year Guarantee. They’re so confident with their product, they might as well dare you to refund.
In addition to what we wrote, Exposed Skin Care also says the following on what makes them unique:
The Exposed acne treatment is the first full spectrum system that treats and prevents acne in ways that were previously thought impossible. Most products that you will encounter only offer limited methods of treating acne. Exposed is designed to unclog blocked pores, kill acne causing bacteria and help your skin normalize the levels of sebum production, aid in the healing of skin lesions and reduce redness.
Exposed Skin Care Ingredients
Exposed Skin Care has two main sets of ingredients: Natural and Scientific. All in all, they total to eleven key ingredients that help get your skin looking and feeling beautiful again.
Natural Ingredients
Green Tea
Green tea is known as one of the healthiest drinks in the world, with many studies linking its therapeutic benefits for a roster of diseases. It also exhibits protective benefits from certain medical conditions and is a potent antioxidant.
According to a 2012 study titled Protective Mechanisms of Green Tea Polyphenols in Skin 2, Green tea is an abundant source of plant polyphenols that exhibit significant antioxidant, chemopreventive, and immunomodulatory effects in protecting the skin.
Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera3 is one of the most popular and first mainstream natural ingredient used in many topical applications and solutions. It’s commonly known to speed up recovery of skin from damage, especially from mild burns.
This 2016 study shows topical application of aloe vera improved the biochemical, morphological, and biomechanical characteristics of the healing cutaneous wounds in rats. This treatment option may be valuable in clinical practice.
Tea Tree
Tea Tree oil4 has been used for medicinal purposes for hundreds of centuries. It has antibacterial as well as immunostimulant properties that help the body be extra efficient when dealing with infections or, in the case of skin care, bacterial problems of the skin such as acne.
Herbal Extracts
Sage, Licorice, and Passion flower are all bonafide skin care herbs capable of soothing the skin, reducing skin inflammation, scarring, and redness.
Sage Extract in particular is a natural anti-inflammatory ingredient which is highly beneficial when treating acne.
Scientific Ingredients
Benzoyl Peroxide
This is one of the best compounds you can use to treat acne5. It not only kills acne bacteria on the skin’s surface, but deep in pores as well. It’s also one of the few anti-acne compounds capable of reducing excess skin oil.
Salicylic Acid
The main function of Salicylic acid6 is to unclog pores from dead skin cells. Not only that, it also shrinks the pores down which prevents it from being clogged again.
Research show it excels as a peeling agent according to a 2015 study. It concludes:
“Salicylic acid is a safe and efficacious peeling agent for a number of dermatological and cosmetic problems, including acne vulgaris, melasma, photodamage, freckles, and lentigines. It can be safely used in dark skin types. Newer formulations containing polyethylene glycol have shown promising results in decreasing and preventing skin tumors in mice, making it a potentially attractive peeling agent for use in the future.”
Glycolic Acid
This is kinda like the cousin to Salicylic acid in a sense that they both break down dead skin cells. What makes Glycolic acid7 special is its ability to work on both the upper layer and lower layer of the skin, giving you deeper exfoliation.
Sulfur soap
Sulfur soaps8 have been around for a long time and were predominantly used as acne treatment. It possesses oil-reducing and skin-declogging properties. It works best for those whose skin is too oily for their own good.
Azelaic Acid
This compound fixes the shedding of skin cells and opens the follicle resulting in fewer pimple breakouts. It also has been shown to prevent the growth of acne bacteria. This dual purpose makes Azelaic Acid9 one of the more effective ingredients in a topical acne medication.
How Does Exposed Skin Care Work
Exposed Skin Care focuses on exfoliation as well as acne treatment, and it does both on a high level.
What we found great about Exposed Skin Care is how they didn’t overstuff their formula with nonsense ingredients.
They kept the spotlight on just two functions – acne and dead skin – and never lost focus. Each ingredient is battle tested and are capable of doing the job assigned to them.
We love the abundance of natural ingredients in their formula as not only does it make the product have a “natural” feel to it, it also makes it much more worth the price tag as natural ingredients aren’t cheap.
What can you look forward to?
This is the part where we gather data from user feedback, and we’re delighted to let you know there are overwhelming positive feedback on Exposed Skin Care.
Users note how it does take some time to work, but when it does it works every time!
It also has a 30-day guarantee plus a special 1-year refund. That’s how confident they are with their product.
Benefits
The whole kit is capable of antibacterial benefits, helps unclog pores, exfoliates and rejuvenates skin, and evens skin tone.
How To Use It?
They actually have a separate page for their Directions For Use. Follow the step-by-step guide:

Exposed Skin Care Side Effects
It’s made for those with sensitive skin, so the odds of you suffering from side effects is minimal. Their company has this to say about side effects:
Exposed Acne Treatment is a powerful acne medication. It uses FDA approved drugs that are proven to reduce acne. Occasionally, people who use Exposed will experience a tingling sensation for the first several days of use or may experience dryness.
Is It A Scam?
Definitely not a scam.
Exposed Skin Care Reviews & Complaints
Here are some of the reviews we found. Let’s begin with negative ones.
Lianne:
Usually I don’t write bad reviews, but I felt the need to share this and save people their time, money, and most importantly their skin. I’ve always had a very mild case of acne- small bumps, large pores, and one to two big ones during that time of the month. I decided I wanted to get rid of all the bumps on my nose by trying this “all natural” skin care line, how much damage could it do? Wrong! I rarely get acne in my cheeks and now my cheeks are covered with small bumps and large zits. I’ve been using this product for almost 2 months, so there is no “it has to get worse before it gets better kind” of bull being pulled on me. This is an absolute terrible product. I’ve now switched to Proactiv to try to clear up this mess on my face. Save yourselves the trouble and don’t buy!!
Momo:
The product reduced this pimple i had within a day. I was super hopeful about this product, since I’ve read so many reviews but found it odd how the reviewer only had one reviews ever made. I was desperate. i felt like i was breaking out more than usual on my forehead. so i thought of getting the product as a counter measure. After using the product within 3 days i was experiencing hyper sensitivity to the sun. i walked my dog outside for less than 10 minutes. That day my face was burning red. i started getting these small hives where i put the product on. I had it all the way down to my chest. i had to stop my face was so dry it was hurting me. i started using the product less instead of two a day every other day. it didn’t get it better. it was very itchy and inflamed, the worse blow to my self esteem just trying to do everyday errands.
There were a lot of gems, though, and these came from verified purchases.
The good news is, the average rating for this product is around four, but it has over 800 reviews on Amazon alone so that’s saying a lot about how effective it is.
Yarima Mayren:
After I stopped using birth control, my face completely went back to how it was before during my teenage years. My face broke out so bad around the mouth area chin upper lip cheeks, etc. My confidence was going down especially since I had started a new job and my coworkers were seeing such a rough face. I had to find options to control my acne, i usually used a neutrogena face wash/mask but it was not working. I was also using clearasil which helped washing away my makeup, but nothing was improving my face. I stumbled up this product and decided to give it a try since nothing else was working. I have sensitive oily skin so I was hoping this product would work. Yes! finally a product that helped. waiting was not easy but it was worth the wait because after 2 weeks i saw the results. My face went from bumpy red constant breakout face to a clear face. Now I still have dark spots and a few pimples but it is nothing major like how it was before. Definitely ordering from them again. I do need something to help with the oily face though since that aspect has not improved.
Erin:
I never give reviews but I just had to with this product. It’s amazing. I’ve had problem skin for as long as I can remember and I can honestly say this stuff worked for me. I have super sensitive skin (I could feel it start getting super dry) so I only used it at night after the first week and I’m still seeing amazing results. It completely changed my skin. I’m at 5 weeks of using it now (everyday) and my skin looks and feels so clear. It’s the first time in forever I don’t have to cover up my face with makeup to leave the house or feel self-conscious. Anyways, it was a leap of faith for me to buy this because it is a bit on the pricey side, but I’m so happy I did. Love my new skin 🙂
Ben:
All I have to say is that “Exposed Acne Treatment” is the solution ! It COMPLETELY solved my acne problem. They say when you reach 40, you are your own best doctor. So, just before I found Exposed, I experimented cutting out various foods that I thought provoked acne. Guess what ? Me quitting raw (uncooked) milk was my main culprit because within a week or two, many blemishes on my back (and some on my face) disappeared. Somehow cooked foods with milk in them don’t seem to bother me as bad, but that’s research I may not complete for a while. The point is, the succinct literature that Exposed sends you with their basic kit ADVISES you to lay off milk ! That has flied in the face of most of my dermatology advice (and books), but Exposed is obviously on the ball. And also guess what ? Recently, dermatology “experts” are now linking acne with milk. Go figure.
So, did quitting milk do it alone ? No, because that acne had been around for almost 30 years and obviously had a stronghold. Hang in there, because in less than one month, the super-easy morning and evening steps gave me clear skin. And what’s so nice about all this is the natural ingredients they use. I have a somewhat sensitive face, but never been dried out by their product. It’s a God-send. It works, is easy, and I’ve had absolutely no side-affects.
No one is paying me to say this, BTW. I’m just so happy I found something that works wonderfully.
Bottom line: Buy it now, and have GREAT EXPECTATIONS !
