My doctor specialist for thyroid wants me to have radioactive for my hypothyroid gland. I just went for a scan with iodine yesterday february 7. I am taking the pill Propanolol 10 mg. I am not for radioactive because it will burn my thyroid and he wants to put me on hormone and I believe that hormone makes to gain weight. What should I do? Do you have a good solution for me?

I was considering trying Actalin, but I read ingredients and it has MSM (which contains sulfur). Several years ago I was told NOT ever to take sulfur because
of being allergic to it; even a small dose could kill me. And I am not ready for that.
I read about actalin taking care of ‘hot flashes. I have been getting terrific ones;
I thought it was from radiation treatments I had in 2016; my physician took me
off Zoloft and put me on Welbutrin, hoping that would take care of the problem.
I have been taking the Welbutrin for a couple of months now, with no results. I was told not to take any hormone supplements since I had “0” Stage cancer in my left breast. I had a lumpectomy, and 30 radiation treatments. They put me on
Tamoxifen for a little while and I could not stand it after 25 doses. I refused to take it any longer and did not feel comfortable taking any of the other two that
were offered to me. I read somewhere that my ‘hot’ periods could be caused from my heart–I have not discussed this with my family physician. I take 80 mcg or mg, daily, for my hypothyroidism.

I prefer to see independent clinical trials of a product. Brownstein organization has a great deal of hype, slicking advertising, but I am not convinced Actalin is the correct product for me based on an infomercial.
I started taking Actalin and my breast started bleeding, So I stopped and my breast stop bleeding. I took it for about 3 weeks before I noticed the bleeding, one morning I woke up and did overed the blood on my sheet, so I immediately went to the doctor and scheduled mamograms eventually discovered that it was the Actalin
I dont remember ordering this, and i dont even know if it will help me or hurt me because i dont even have a thyroid! It and 2 of the 4 parathyroids were removed because of tumors, non cancerous. So somebody needs to let me know what i should be doing or not doing, asap!
What helps hyperthyroidism?

What I can say is that I notice this to carve my appetite. I dont feel as hungry as I normally do. Im not a breakfast eater so I normally get hungry around 12pm and i mean starving. Now I dont feel hungry until around 3 or 4pm and it dont be a starving hunger. And I only want certain foods. At first I would eat what ever now its healthier choices and I dont over eat like how I normally would.
I have thyroid problems not sure what kind i am on medicine NP Thyroid 60mg i honestly need to find out more abt my thyroid cause the medication doesn’t help not even when i was at 90mg. I have hypo -thyroid and take perscribed medication. Started taking Actalin and found after 4 days I was getting very dizzy. Stopped taking and dizziness stopped. Didn’t work for. They should advise of possible side affects like all medications do however this is not under the same standards. User Beware !!
I have experienced diarrhea with Actalin. I stopped taking it for two weeks, and after starting Actalin the diarrhea began again.
