Hi all! I am on the last day of my pack of active pills. This month my partner and I have barely seen each other so we haven't had any sex until yesterday. I have been taking my pills everyday between the hour or two frame. He came in me twice yesterday and now I'm worried that I may be pregnant. I've been taking the pill for 6 months now. Any ideas if I should take the plan b after pill? Thank you!

+/- 1 hour leaves you at perfect use, 2-12 hours is typical use. ( based on combo and 12 hour mini pill)

Also plan b is for emergencies only

No you don't need it, you're on the pill and therefore protected against pregnancy. An hour or two will make no difference (several nurses plus sexual health educators have personally told me so).

That is also based on a 12 hour pill I should mention!

There are different types of pills, combination or mini pill. Combination pills have a 12 hour window in which you have to take them - you took them within 2 hours so you're okay. Mini pills typically only have three hours so are therefore more time sensitive, however there is a couple of types that also have the 12 hour window. You can find out which type you have by looking at your pamphlet or googling your brand. Your doctor should have told you, too.
