How come my pamphlet says that if I'm a perfect user im 99.9% protected? But on here girls always say that perfect use is 99.7%. My pamphlet even goes on the say that out of perfect users 1 out of 100 women will get pregnant in a year. And then it goes on to explain typical users. So my pamphlet obviously meant to put 99.9%. Why?? 💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💤💤💤💤💤💤💤💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊⏱ Brand: Blisovi 24 fe

Because there have been multiple studies done on Contraceptive efficiency- some are older, newer, some are specific trials conducted on that specific brand, etc. Perfect use of combined pills= 99.7% is generally the most widely used chart conducted by Natural Family Planning. It's the one that goes in most condom boxes, spermicide boxes, med pamphlets, etc. So it's what most people refer to. None of them contradict each other, but they can have slight differences. The 99.9% came from the 17th edition of Contraceptive Technology, and the 99.7% is in the 19th edition of contraceptive Technology! :)

Thank you so much for the in depth answer!! Does that mean the information isn't necessarily wrong but just done through a different or more outdated study?
